Why iyanla vanzant left oprah

Though Iyanla and Oprah have since put the falling out behind them, their rift ran deep. During an appearance on "Super Soul Sunday," Iyanla admits that she struggled with their past, but also seems grateful for how everything played out.

Iyanla explains that she learned many lessons from her experience working with another network. Hurt that I didn't understand what I had done, and guilty because my… story is 'I always do the wrong thing. This insecurity led Iyanla to make assumptions that could have compounded the situation. With the experience behind her and more clarity at the forefront, Iyanla is now able to understand the life lesson that she was supposed to learn -- a lesson she says anyone and everyone should heed.

If you don't take a minute to breathe, to gather yourself This one-word lesson often gets lost in the chaos of our daily lives. Oprah is dangerous, if you cross her your entire career is done. I am so glad Michael Vick said NO! Thank God. He has given an interview to 60 minutes and the NFL Network. I hope Tony Dungy was the one who talked him out of it. BabaWaWa: talk about an illuminati, rothschild demonic bytch!! I was watching when it aired earlier.. I think IV was new to the game and didn't know how things work in Hollyweird and Oprah please get over yourself.

I am sorry to hear that these two intelligent women could not have worked this out between them, without all the public drama. Let's take it higher folks, higher! Hmmmmmm interesting seeing as though I missed the show I certainly can't dissect on this clip alone. Iyanla is an initiated priestess of Ifa and is very powerful in her own right. I did not know that slut bawa was involved in this fuckery. I just hope she has not sold out like that fool deepak chopra that muthafukka became so holly weird its not even funny.

I think i have read all of her books, an I was a fan. She had the same situation with Alice Walker and Whoopi. They were both kicked to the curb and had no idea why Oprah left them there. Why do black people always think that because another black person is in a position of power they will automatically get the green light to move ahead under that person? In the real world and in Corp America it doesn't work like that, let alone in the hood.

You go with what you think will be the best opportunity for you and you family. Iyanla made the decision to go with Barbara Walters, it was a done deal.

Now she sees that she made a huge mistake she's trying to come back to Oprah and apologize. This has nothing to do with color but choices. Let's get real Iyanla. YOU selected the wrong candidate to run your campaign, deal with it.

IV, is eating crow now. I remember when IV was on a show that women stayed at this house and she was their life coach. Toni Braxton's sister was one of those women in the house and she called IV out. She said that IV was a woman who had not healed and that IV was very mean spirited.

You can clearly see the curtness in IV mannerism. It seems to me that IV is a broken woman that needs to work on self. IV has had some unfortunate tradegies happen in her life. God Bless both of these beautiful women. Oprah and Iyanla said that Oprah asked Iyanla if she was ready to have her own show before the Barbara Walters thing happened. Iyanla said no and that she wasn't ready.

I could go deeper but just based on that I can understand how Iyanla might feel that she had an opening to meet with Oprah later to discuss it again. I don't believe Iyanla thought she was due a promo just because or because she was black. I work in a position where I hire, train, and suggest for promotions.

The generation of workers in their early to late 20s have a different view of how or why someone should be promoted than previous generations.

Previous generations believed that if you worked hard and went above and beyond you might get a promotion.

This current 20 something generation thinks that if the employee manaual says you can be promoted after 6 months that it means that they should get promoted without doing the work for it. They will often times scoff if you ask them to take on more responsibilities that will help them get a promotion.

Your observation isn't "black" people this is something you will see from a lot of people in their 20's right now black, white, latino I've seen it from all. So if you get that impression please know that it's not a "black" thing but a generational thing that has absolutely nothing to do with race.

Nubs correction IV is a preistess of Obatala. I am sorry ,but i don't think lyanla , was being forthright in that oprah interview. Now that things have slowed up in her career , now she wants too crawl back.

OPRAH is highly intelligent , she new exactly where lyanla was coming from. And now lyanla is being misunderstood , when things did not go as planned. IF i were oprah , i would be done with her too! Except it and learn from it, lyanla Oprah doesnt owe anybody shit, let alone an apology. What was she suppose to apologize for???

She offered IV a golden opportunity and and she turned it down. Oh well Sucks to be IV. But the main tenet of my Blog is not hating white folks; it's getting Black people to rid themselves of the self-hatred force fed to us in american schools, so we can unite and improve our conditions. And this is the positive contribution I'm making here. Perhaps you should look into zionism, to understand what happened to your people. I don't need to look into it, I've experienced it my whole life.

Especially in the american educational system. Cause that very system conditioned myself and everyone who looks like me to hate anything to do with Black people. I've thoroughly diagnosed this disease and I'm letting my people know what they need to do to cure themselves. Why are you so concerned about these individuals?

We all have to answer for our own sins If you don't see the educational qualities of this post, especially when it comes to how the gay white community wants the Black 'Civil Rights' community to validate their status as an oppressed minority, then you just weren't paying attention to what you read. Or, you're too much of an dumb-founded anglophile to have an opinion.
